Tacos La Perlita started with a simple idea: bring the real flavors of Mexico to College Station. Owner Alexandra Aguilar grew up spending summers and holidays with family in Guadalajara, and the recipes you'll taste here are the same ones she grew up eating — slow-cooked carnitas, melt-in-your-mouth barbacoa, salsas made warm every day, and gorditas that taste like home.
There's nothing fancy about La Perlita, and that's exactly the point. It's honest, hearty Mexican food, served fast and with a smile, in a cozy spot just off Harvey Road.
